摘要

Since the eighties, more and more papers are related to thermal plasma modelling. At the beginning, papers dealt with 2D stationary models on "simple" objects like free burning arc (FBA) [1]. With the increasing calculation capacity of the computer, the studied objects become more and more complex and the developments begin to treat about 3D model, in stationary state and, today assuming transient state. As the model developments need to be associated with validation steps, this incredible increase of model's complexity should be associated with improvements of experimental techniques.
