摘要

We have developed finite element models of the optical tweezers microrhcology technique and of cell deformation during airway reopening. The tweezers results indicate that the membrane/cortex region can have a significant effect on the apparent modulus obtained from bead-based mechanics measurements. The cell injury results confirmed that pressure-induced strains are much larger than shear-induced strains for a wide range of Ca.
