摘要

In this study, SC distributions of a macromolecular tracer during CED into the sciatic nerve were monitored using DCE-MR imaging. CSF and nerve root uptake of tracer was evident. These findings indicate that CED into the peripheral nerve may provide an alternative drug delivery route for targeting the intrathecal space or the spinal cord while requiring minimally-invasive surgery.
