Analysis on Development Law and Incentives for Beijing Urban Rail Transit

摘要

With fast development of industrialization and urbanization, urban rail transit begins to play a more important role in public transportation, occupies a comparatively high proportion of urban transportation, lessens urban traffic congestion and promotes harmonious development of economy and society. The paper analyzes the basic development rules for urban rail transit, then summarizes the status quo of Beijing urban rail transit, analyzes the development incentives for its rapid enhancement, and maintains that economic development, scientific planning, Olympic effect, and institutional innovation are four main powers which push forward the development of Beijing rail transit.
