Study on the Program Breakdown Structure System of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project

摘要

The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is a large-scale engineering project which includes three parts named as Eastern Route Project (ERP), Middle Route Project (MRP) and Western Route Project (WRP). The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is a large-scale engineering project which includes many kinds of projects and participants, at the same time, several management models are applied in the Southto-North Water Diversion Project Given the complexity of the project, the traditional WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) or PBS (Project Breakdown Structure) is not suitable for the decision-making group and the managing departments of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Based on the Program Management, the concept of Program Breakdown Structure (PgBS) is proposed in this paper, and the PgBS system of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is conceived, which will be the important basis of the Program Management of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.
