To fill the gap between school training to postinternship and prepare better qualified students, A simulation-based curriculum for construction major students to ease this transition is developed. The post cluster of the construction major students will engage in after their graduation was first investigated. Then the professional knowledge and capability which current construction profession request are analyzed. Following that, four kind of capability, namely, reading, construction, calculation and management are summarized. Simulation-based curriculum focuses on training students these four capabilities therefore developed with the aid of computer. The trainees were given access to the curriculum and asked to provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Curriculum. A questionnaire survey was also conducted to explore the validation of the curriculum. Results showed that students are more flexible and more adaptive to new environment Confusions of students at the early stage of the post-internship are vanished. Simulation-based Curriculum created a real and effective practical teaching and learning environment
