DETERMINATION OF ANTIMICROBIAL EFFICACY FOR TEXTILE PRODUCTS AGAINST ODOR-CAUSING BACTERIA

In the present study four bacterial species potentially associated with human malodor, and two bacterial species typically used in textile antimicrobial efficacy tests were evaluated against four fabrics from textile products advertised as having antimicrobial properties. Bacillus licheniformis was observed to be resistant to the antimicrobial active textiles.
