摘要

In this paper we use a simple and practical model for received signals in radar's receiver which is located in smooth areas like deserts. After modeling these received signals and formulating them we suggest the maximum likelihood decision to find the elevation angle of the targets and then by some consideration, we promote ML method to maximum a posteriori decision (MAP) and windowing decision. This model and its estimation are very useful in practical applications particularly in low power radars.
