摘要

An algorithm for recognition and location of warship target with two chimneys based on infrared images is presented in this paper. The working warship’s chimneys in infrared images are selected as a main feature attribute for recognition after its infrared radiate properties are analyzed. By analysing 100 random sampling images, four conditions for infrared warship target are found, an algorithm for recognizing and location warship targets based on Infrared images are established. 130 images are taken to experiment, the results show total errors is less than one pixel.
