The 25th ITTC Specialist Committee on Cavitation reviewed the methods of predicting cavitation performance, a review that included a survey of the worldwide cavitation community. As confirmed by organizations that responded to the survey, experimental methods and model-scale testing still offer a primary method for predicting cavitation performance. Recent improvements have enhanced these experimental methods.
