摘要

The present study focuses on the competitiveness of HTE process coupled to a Sodium Fast Reactor, based on both simplified cost model and flowsheet. Results show that a hydrogen production cost at 2 - 3 €/kg could be reached with the HTE-SFR coupling when considering a target electrolyser lifespan of about 5 years. The optimistic scenarios showed that even lower production costs could be reached if the cell investment decreases by 250 €/kW. The influence of the steam temperature supplied by the SFR (483 K ±50 K) on hydrogen production cost is negligible.
