STATE OF THE ART AND PROSPECT OF HYDROGEN AND FUEL CELLS IN SPAIN

Spain is identified by its specific geographical, climatic and socials characteristics. Geographically, Iberian Peninsula closes the south west part of Europe, being the nearest connection to Africa. It covers the 12% of EU25 total surface, it is the biggest country after France and one of the southern countries as Italy and Greece. Its surface is 500,000 Km~2, surrounded by sea in an 88%. Climatically it holds a big diversity of weather conditions, from very humid areas in the north to very dry, almost desert areas, in the south.
