As soon as GIS, Remote sensing and kinds of numeral media race off, we have accumulated a great deal of data concerning space-time of which drainage basin information and GIS are related .A greal deal of numeral information have been accumulated during the past work and these data make it possible to realize numeral drainage basin. Investigation of numeral drainage basin plays a direct and realistic role in planning of water resource and the organization of prevent flood.To model 3d terrain of numeral drainage basin is the base of the system. I adopt regular reseau data so as to meet the demand of modeling 3d terrain.Studying of 3d terrain visualization technology is essential to demonstrate 3d drainage basin terrain. Data pretreatment, illumination parameter, projection fashion and texture mapping are pivotal technique to visualize the 3d drainage basin terrain.Arithmetic study of water routing is the theoretical base of realizing water dynamic routing. Designing from space-time adaptive model, selecting boundary searching algorithm, and simplifying boundary conditions, the program uses breadth-first search and adds boundary control conditions to it, which provide a available solution to the problem.
