A new type of piezocomposite vibration acceleration sensor was studied, which sensitive element consists of Cymbal transducer. The amplitude and frequency characteristics of this new vibration acceleration sensor and nonlinear characteristic of output voltage sensitivity were investigated. The least squares approximation method, partition linear interpolation and average value filter methods were employed to carry out non-linear error compensation of output voltage sensitivity. The experimental results shown that the non-linear error of output voltage sensitivity can be 0.6% or less than 0.6% after the non-linear error compensation was made. Micro-controller unit (MCU) was used to data logging, and the least squares approximation method was used to carry on fitting a straight line and establish the non-linear compensation data table. Every time 8 points sampling values are collected, which are used to obtain an average value as the actual sampling value, so the unwanted signal can be filtered, the accuracy of the sampling value can be improved.
