摘要

The overview of the development and feature of the expressway in Shanghai are introduced. Several control algorithms are reviewed and the ALINEA algorithm is recommended as the experimental algorithm for its advantages. The time period for control is determined based on the history data. The preliminary way of changing signal cycle is chose based on physical conditions of both the ramp and the vehicles. A series of practical issues are raised and a good effort is made to eliminate their influence to the control effect in practical implementation. The field experiment plan is designed for the whole control strategy.
