New Approach to Conceptual Design of the Hydraulic System

摘要

The goal of this paper is to establish a mathematical method for the conceptual design of hydraulic system.New functional selection units for hydraulic system conceptual design, called primary units, are firstly defined based on the valves and the linking patterns. According to the specific valve structures, quantitative expressions of primary units are then established. By analyzing and extracting the quantitative expressions qualitatively, the characteristic state equations are constructed, and then the coefficients matrices, called characteristic state matrices,are served as the representations of functional knowledge for primary units. Meanwhile, the characteristic state space is formed by all energy characteristic states in hydraulic system. Furthermore, general primary units are compiled and the corresponding characteristic state matrices are all obtained for the future synthesis. Finally,the synthesis process for the single action hydraulic subsystem is developed, and a design example is also given to show the details.
