The Japanese Experiment Module “KIBO” is a constituent part of the International Space Station, developed andoperated jointly by Japan, USA, Russia, Europe and Canada. It is Japanese first manned space system. This paperpresents the current status and the future plan regarding the flight and the ground system development, theoperation procedure development, and the training of “KIBO operation”.
