摘要

The planetary gear transmission with dual power output has the advantage of less unbalanced moment and higher stability besides of the general advantages of planetary gear transmission which can achieve a high efficiency in transmitting large power with compact structure. The closed power flow and the relationship between the input to output and closing style involved in the kinematical design of closed planetary gear transmission are studied in this paper. Some expressions are deduced and used to calculate the power of planetary gear system for two different drive styles, then critical conditions are determined for whether the circulatory power flow is produced or not in closed gear drive style, and some questions are discussed for instance: how does the power flow distributed and how the output shaft adjusts by itself to keep balance in differential drive style.
