摘要

Rotational transmission error (RTE) of the 2K-V type planetary reduction gear with cycloid gears (2K-VRC) is the key factor to be considered in designing. In this type of transmissions there exists a major characteristic of high precision. The RTE should be as small as possible in order to apply these gears to the industrial robot and a machine requiring precise positioning. In this paper, a measuring system for measuring transmission error of high precision mechanical transmission chain is introduced. The system, which combines digital signal processing, high performance data acquisition card, is developed to analyze the measuring data. Advanced digital signal processing algorithms are developed based on the subdividing principle aided with a computer, the design of the computer interface, the computer software and analysis of measurement data are described in detail.With it the transmission errors can be performed very quickly, and requires little operator skill, so it is suitable for the diagnoses of transmission error to investigate the relationships between the manufacturing errors and design errors.
