GEMAT II: a computer aided design thyristor macromodel generator

摘要

The work required to customize a general device model to representa particular device with the adequate precision level is long and timeconsuming. If a black-box device model, such as the GTO macromodel isused, only the externally observed device behavior, presented in themanufacturer's data sheet is necessary; the calculations required arelong, but they can be set up in a well defined, step by stepnonrecursive process that can be automated, transferring the tedioustask to a CAD program, such as the one presented in this work
