We are pleased to introduce to the readers of Current Computer-Aided Drug Design (CCADD) the third issue of the journal dedicated to Professor Lemont B. Kier on his 80th birthday. We approached scientists worldwide to contribute articles for the special issues of our journal dedicated to Professor Kier and received an outstanding response from a large number of distinguished colleagues from four continents, viz., Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. We feel fortunate to have the opportunity of editing special issues of CCADD honoring one of the great researchers of our time.
