Photovoltaic (PV) has the highest cost reduction potential among all renewable energy sources (RES) and has experienced rapid growth. The increasing potential of electricity interruption from grid overloads, as well as the rise of electricity prices from conventional energy sources, adds to the attractiveness of photovoltaic systems.
