摘要

A mixture of Boolean and Markovian state models has been developed and applied to determine the influence on core melt frequency of maintenance under full power of the residual heat removal system (RHRS) in a nuclear power plant. The results of the analysis show a positive influence on development of the unavailability of the RHRS system and indicate that further applications in optimisation of component maintenance in nuclear power plants are thinkable.
