Analysis on Actuality and Outlook of Shanghai's Electricity Demand on Industries and Residence

With the deepen reformation and developing market economy, Shanghai's industrial structures has changed continuously, its GDP proportions of all industries have been adjusting largely, and the electricity demand structures has been changing accordingly. In this paper, Shanghai's status quo and developing trend of its industry structures and electricity consumption structures are analyzed. GDP reflects structural change and developmental trend of national economy, primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry compose most terminal users of electricity consumption, and its GDP growth speeds and structural adjustments decide directly changes of electricity demand. According to analysis on national economy structure and improvement of living standard, The amount, proportion and growth rate of electricity demand are discussed. Furthermore, the outlook on trend of Shanghai's electricity consumption structures is concluded: electricity demand will increase considerably, load factor of electric network is high and peak-to-valley difference is enlarged, electricity demand on air-conditioning equipments in summer will impact network load more and more, electricity demand on primary industry is few and its proportion will descent year by year, electricity demand on second industry will increase but its proportion will descent also, and electricity demand on tertiary industry and residence will increase rapidly and its proportion will raise largely.
