The limits of the application of PSA in technologically demanding bonding tasks are still not fixed. In the industrial production and in the civil engineering PSA are making their way, with chemical or mechanical combinations the performance is expanding. For many processing's and for many applications it is possible to develop a specialized quick mounting system. They are providing the tack of an PSA and the bonding strength of a structural adhesive. Different kinds of combination in different forms are realizable. A large improvement for the usage of semi-structural PSA as conventional bonding element in constructions will be reached with the providing of construction guideline. With the knowledge and definition of the fracture criteria under working conditions the operator can design a operational stabile joint.
