Semitopdown Parsing in Information Systems

摘要

Large organizations (global enterprises and state and/or municipal administration) have complex structure. They are composed as network of quite autonomous subunits. The subunits communicate using rather complex way - they exchange forms, invoices, reports, etc. Information systems of such organizations should follow their structure. That means that these information systems should be composed as networks of autonomous components. This architecture allow integration of legacy systems and third party products whenever needed. As the world changes, the complex communication between organizational subunits (an their partial information systems) changes too. That causes that for communication between components an extensible language must be used. We need an extensible language, extensible parsers for it and mechanism how to describe the changes of the language and its semantics.
