Development of NACSIS-ILL Distance Training System in Project IDLE

摘要

This paper presents the concepts and methodologies of our distance learning project named IDLE (Integrated Distance Learning Environment) whose major target is higher education and professional training. The primary mission of the project is to meet the emerging needs of society. Then the paper introduces the NACSIS-ILL distance training system as an example. The system is a WWW based system for training NACSIS-ILL operators. NACSIS-ILL is a service our institute offers to university libraries nationwide to support exchange of information for the inter-library loan service to provide academic documents to the researchers of universities, etc. The system will be in practical use shortly.
