Introducing Workflow Management Systems in Insurance Companies

摘要

This paper gives an overview of the introduction process of workflow management systems in insurance companies. It identifies general evaluation requirements for workflow management systems and those, which are specific to insurance companies. We present an introduction strategy, developed at the University of Vienna that has been adapted in cooperation with the Generali Vienna Group, an insurance group operating in central Europe, to their specific needs.
