(SBE)_7M-beta-CD, also known as Captisol~direct R, can be used as a safe solubilizing and stabilizing agent for various parenteral drugs.~1 Only a limited number of studies have looked at the potential use of (SBE)_7M-beta-CD for improved oral drug delivery.
