The development of a controlled release, single dose vaccine combination formulation is attractive for disease prevention, patient compliance and improved vaccine safety. This may be due to controlling dose dependant toxicity of one or more components or in the case of vaccine formulation this may be related to modulating the type of immune response elicited.
