Thorough carbonization of pregnant liquor in soda-sintering process

摘要

Thoronghly carbonizing preganant liquor from leaching clinker obtained by sintering mixture of soda and bauxite with high A/S, namely soda-sintering process, can get crude Al(OH)_3 with high silica content. Then the crude Al(OH)_3, is processed by low-temperature Bayer process producing sandy alumina. This new technlogy permits soda-sintering process operated at high concentrations and can process bauxite with low silica onctent, decreasing production cost greatly.
