Elevated Speakers Image Correction using 3D Audio Processing

摘要

A real-time post-processing technique is proposed to enhance the sound images whenplayback over elevated loudspeakers for both two-speaker and multiple-speakerconfigurations. This is achieved by filter design using either 1/3 octave filtering orregularization to prevent sharp peaks in frequency response. The algorithm is implementedon a TMS320C6201 EVM DSP board and subjective testing is also carried out.
