Sign Specification and Synthesis

摘要

A description in terms of elementary primitives is proposed, in the view of sign language synthesis. Gradual combination leads to global sign specification. Grammatical inflexions are also taken into account in the sign hierarchic description built. Particular attention is focused on hand configurations synthesis from fingers primitives and hand properties, and on location and orientation computation issues. Prom sign features edition to virtual animation, here are laid the foundations of a new interface intended for deaf people.
