Systems Engineering Through Stages

摘要

Systems engineering demands repeated exploration of requirements and practicality through all parts of the development and operational life cycle. Development and usage must proceed in a series of stages, in which systems engineering processes interact with the organisational decisionmaking. This paper defines a systems engineering approach based on established concepts from the innovation, product management and systems engineering literature. This model suggests that a unified systems engineering approach can be applied to all of development, including innovation, prototyping and evolutionary development.
