The epithermal Hg, Sb, and Au mineralizations in the rift zone of the Kucuk Menderes, Western Anatolia can be considered as extinct systems of formerly active geothermal systems due to various similarities of parameter with their euqivalents. In connection with cooling magma chamber, arsenopyrite and Au mineralization of Kure formed at temperautres from 300 to 210 deg as a first ore phase. As a second phase, Sb mineralization of Emirli took place at temperatures from 26p to 180 deg. The Hg mineralization of Halikoy forms the late phase and indicate homogenization temperatures between 200 and 130 deg. Moreover, the magmatic orgin of volatile components can be proven by the analyses of #delta#~(13)C, #delta#~(34)S, ~3He/~4He, and ~(11)B/~(10)B.
