A very useful airborne surveying system over ocean of real time data process and transmission for multi-sensor is being developed. The sensors of the surveying system are consisted of some remote sensing instrument. The processed and compressed data are transmitted to the satellite, and then the receivers on the ground receive the data from the satellite and process and display them. There are some leading features for the airborne surveying system: The multi-channel sampling technology is used to get the digital sampling data. According to different purpose, the multiprocessor system developed by us uses a parallel operating method for data compression and data disposal Because the different types of sensors are used it is difficult to assemble the sensors, sample and deal with the output data of sensers. On the other hand, because of the large number of data for the multi-sensor system and the limited transmission rate of satellite channel we have to develop an advanced data compression and transmission method. In this paper, we will discuss as follow: 1) Introduction about the airborne surveying system; 2) Multi-sensor assembling technology; 3) An advanced data compression method; 4) Data transmission and disposal technology.
