Large eddy simulations (LESs) have been performed for turbulent planar channel flow with constant wall heat flux. ^An implicit finite volume scheme with second order accuracy was used to solve the set of filtered equations to determine the large eddy motion, while dynamic subgrid-scale stress and heat flux models were used to account for the subgrid scale effects. ^The results were compared with experimental results, and LES results which employed the Smagorinsky subgrid-scale model. ^(Author)
