摘要

Activated carbon materials have been used commercially to remove SO_2 from coal combustion flue gases. Recent studies have showed that activated carbon fibers(ACFs) may have potential in this application due to their high SO_2 adsorption capacity. The presence of water vapor will increase the SO_2 adsorption on activated carbon. However, how H_2O affect the adsorption of SO_2 over ACFs are not established. This is the main objective of this work.
