To data the use of Electronic Nose technology has been restricted to batch ampling in Resezrch, Development a nd quality control laboratories. COmpoex operating procedurcs, long sample times and unreliable sensor performance are a few of the reasons that have proevented the technology being seen in oon-line process monitoring. This paper reorts on the progress Bloodhound Sensors has made towards delivering a preactical solution to the problems encountered in production line situations.
