Evaluation of the newton secant method in hydraulic design applications

Practical hydraulic design applications such as the computation of friction losses using the Darcy Weisbach equation, or the use of Manning's equation for sanitary sewer design, require the ability to solve for different parameters, depending on the type of problem beig addressed.
