摘要

This study examines the reliability characteristics of the Chalk River Laboratories (CRL) off-site electrical power transients, on each phase of a three-phase 480 V feeder line. The objective is to characterize the behaviour of various types of individual-phase transients on the off-site power supply. This characterization allows site facility designers to select adequate safety margins for electric equipment that is susceptible to damage from power-supply transients.
