The grain size and dynamic mechanical propertie swere examined in order to understand the effect o frecrystallization anneealing process on the structure and mechanical properties of pure tungsten.The maximum grain size of 120#um#m was obtained under three different annealing regimes,i.e.1750 deg C 8h,1800 deg C 6h and 2270 deg C 4.5h.The research also showed that annealing atmosphere had little effect on grain size obtained when recrystallization was completed.The dynamic tensile strength decreased greatly with the increase of grain size,but the compressive strength changed little.Both tensile and compressive strength of the specimens annealed in hydrogen are lower than that in argon.
