An Evidence of Supporting the Time Measurement Hypothesis for the Motion Detection

How is the velocity(v=dx/dt) of the real movement determined in the brain? There are two possibilities: (a) measurement of the distance which an object moves during the known time interval and (b) measurement of the time for an object to move through a fixed distance.
