Poloxamer/poly (acrylic acid) interpolymer complex for transmucosal drug delivery

摘要

Transmucosal drug delivery (TMD) system offer many advantages such as prolog delivery of drug by non-parental routes of administration, easy of accesibility, easy of removal, targeting to specific site and effective release control. Poly (acrylic acid) (PAA) has been known as one of good mucoadhesives due to its high affinity to mucosa membrane. However, it has limitation its use in TMD system because PAA is one of polyelectrolytes which are soluble in water.
