Abstract: An analysis of the statistical properties of light generated by laser having resonator with Gaussian output mirror has been developed. The semiclassical approach based on the stationary solution of the Fokker-Planck equation is used. We have obtained numerical results revealing the influence of the resonator geometry and Gaussian mirror parameter on the mean laser intensity and the intensity fluctuations. !8
