Development nad Applications of Ultrasonic Techniques For Ndi of Triple Honeycomb Layer Composite structures

摘要

NDT techniques for single-layer honeycomb sandwich panels and multi-layer laminate structures are well established. However, techniques for NDT of multilayer honeycomb structures are unknown. Inspection requirements to the newly developed multi-layer honeycomb structures with complex inserts generated a need for a careful evaluation of the various NDT methods for their appropriateness nad defect sensitivity at different honeycomb layer interfaces.
