摘要

The authors consider the source of km streaks in SAR images of the ocean surface. These streaks may occur due to cold air outbreaks and the roll vortex phenomena and are associated with cloud streets. The present work offers direct and definitive confirmation that multiscale SAR streaks can be caused by multiscale atmospheric roll vortices.
