Systematic isotopic studies based on natural and artificial radioisotopes ( ~(32)Si, ~(210)Pb and ~(137)Cs ), stable isotopes ( delta~(18)O ) and total beta activity measurements have been carried out on Dokriani Bamak glacier, Central (Garhwal) Himalaya to study the dynamics of glacier ice, spatial variations of isotopic fallout and short term climatic variations on the glacier.
