Comparative Study of Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs) and Bonded Fiber Matrices

Over the past 30 years, Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs) have become the preferred method of temporary erosion protection on a variety of applications, including both slopes and channels. ECBs are supplied in roll form and are secured using mechanical anchorage methods which ensure that the materials provide the necessary service life to control erosion and to enhance establishment of vegetation.
