The wrought, nickel-chromium-molybdenum (Ni-Cr-Mo) alloys are among the most versatile, corrosion-resistant materials available. Not only do they withstand a very wide range of acids and alkalis, they also resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. In addition, they are easily formed and welded into industrial components.
